Terms of Use

Last updated: 9 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Sponsho for using Uncooped. They cover what the app is, what it is not, and how the subscription works. Please read the two highlighted sections in particular — they are the ones that matter most.

1. Who we are, and accepting these terms

Uncooped is operated by Sponsho ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using Uncooped, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Your privacy is covered separately by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement.

2. You must be 18 or older

Uncooped is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. By using the app you confirm that you are.

3. Uncooped is not medical care

This is the most important thing on this page.

Uncooped is a self-management and habit-tracking tool. It is not medical care, therapy, counselling, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not an emergency service. The in-app recovery coach is a fixed, scripted decision tree running on your device — it is not a therapist, not a clinician, and not a human being.

Nothing in the app is professional advice, and you should not use it as a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read in Uncooped.

If you are in danger, in crisis, or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country immediately. The app cannot summon help for you.

4. Your account

You can use Uncooped without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us at info@sponsho.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Data → Delete account, or by requesting deletion on this website. Deletion is permanent.

5. Subscription, billing and cancellation

Uncooped is a paid subscription app. There is no free tier, and there is currently no free trial.

Plans and pricing

PlanLengthPrice
Uncooped Premium — Monthly1 month$9.99 USD per month
Uncooped Premium — Annual12 months$39.99 USD per year

Prices are in US dollars. In other countries the price is set by Apple or Google in your local currency, and the exact amount is always shown to you before you confirm the purchase.

Automatic renewal

These subscriptions renew automatically. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period, at the same price, unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.

How to cancel

You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We cannot cancel a subscription for you — it is managed by the store that sold it:

Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the store.

Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, not by us, so refunds are handled under their policies. Request a refund through Apple or Google Play. Where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund or a cooling-off period, that right applies regardless of this section.

Price changes

If we change the price, the new price will not apply to you until your next renewal, and Apple or Google will notify you in advance and ask for your consent where their rules or the law require it. You can always cancel instead of accepting a new price.

6. What you may and may not do

Uncooped is licensed to you for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

7. Your content

What you write in Uncooped — your check-ins, notes and reasons — belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it. We store it only to provide the app to you, as described in the Privacy Policy, and we do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train machine learning models.

8. Our content

The app itself — its software, design, text, artwork and name — belongs to Sponsho and is protected by copyright and other laws. These terms give you permission to use it, not ownership of it.

9. Availability, and changes to the app

We aim to keep Uncooped working and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may stop supporting older versions of the app or older phones. If we discontinue the app entirely, we will give you reasonable notice and stop charging you.

Much of Uncooped works offline and on-device by design, so a problem with our servers should not prevent you from using it.

10. Ending this agreement

You may stop using Uncooped at any time by deleting the app, and end your relationship with us entirely by deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or where we must do so by law. If we terminate your access without cause, we will refund the unused part of any subscription you have already paid for.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uncooped is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that using the app will produce any particular result. Recovery outcomes depend on many things outside an app's control, and we make no promise about yours.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sponsho will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of Uncooped. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Apple and Google

You obtained Uncooped from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those companies are not parties to this agreement and are not responsible for the app. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide support for Uncooped, and any claim about the app is between you and us, not them. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

You also agree that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Uncooped after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel your subscription.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and Sponsho agree that the state and federal courts located in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or your use of Uncooped.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the law of the country or state where you live, and you may be entitled to bring proceedings there.

16. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about Uncooped.
