Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Uncooped helps you build self-control and recover after a stumble. What you record here is private, and some of it is deeply personal. This policy sets out exactly what we store, what we never store, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

The short version

Who we are

Uncooped is operated by Sponsho. You can reach us at info@sponsho.com.

For data protection purposes, Sponsho is the data controller.

Using Uncooped without an account

You do not need an account to use Uncooped. Without one:

If you create an account

An account exists for one purpose: so your progress survives losing, replacing or resetting your phone.

What we store

DataWhy
Email addressTo identify your account and let you sign in
PasswordStored only as a cryptographic hash. We never see it
The name you chooseTo greet you in the app. A first name or nickname is fine
Your current run start, most recent stumble date, personal best and XPTo restore your timer and progress
Check-in answersYour daily record, so your history is not lost
Achievements earnedTo restore your collection
My Why text notesSo your reasons are not lost
Your onboarding answers, including any reason you wrote yourselfTo rebuild your plan on a new device

Your check-in answers include sensitive information. Depending on what you record, that can include whether you viewed pornography on a given day, how strong an urge was, what you were feeling, and notes you chose to write. We treat this as the most sensitive category of data we hold and protect it accordingly.

What we never upload

These stay on your device even when you have an account:

What we do not do

Who processes data on our behalf

If you create an account, your data is stored using Supabase, which hosts databases on Amazon Web Services infrastructure. Supabase acts as our data processor and stores data in the region we selected when creating the project. They process it only to provide that hosting, under their own data processing terms.

Apple and Google process your subscription payment if you buy one. We never see or store your card details.

How your data is protected

No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data until you delete it. Delete your account and it is removed from our systems, not merely hidden or marked inactive.

Your choices and rights

Inside the app, at any time:

You can also request account deletion from this website without reinstalling the app.

Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, or restrict processing of your data, and to object to it or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact us at info@sponsho.com and we will respond within 30 days.

We will never ask you to justify a deletion request, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

Age

Uncooped is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Uncooped is not medical care

Uncooped is a self-management tool. It does not diagnose, treat or provide emergency care, and the recovery coach is not a therapist, a counsellor or an emergency service. If you are in danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line in your country.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant — for example, if we ever begin collecting something new — we will tell you inside the app before it takes effect, and where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent.
